Drink up, It’s Good for You!

A recent study in the Journal of the American Heart Association- Stroke has shown that woman who drink one or more cups of coffee a day have a 22-25% less chance of having a stroke. ¬†Another study conducted by researchers at Harvard found an association between coffee consumption and the risk of diabetes. Still more research shows coffee to decrease the risk of gallstones, liver disease, Parkinson’s and even some cancers. Not only that but endurance athletes say a cup of coffee before a race improves their endurance.

Coffee is also a rich source of antioxidants. In fact, coffee is the leading source of antioxidants in the American diet! So while you savor your morning cup of morning gourmet coffee you can smile in the knowledge that it’s actually good for you even though it tastes great!
