This is one of my favorite seasonal drinks that I often order year round just because it is so delicious! Rather than making daily trips to your local coffee shop for a Peppermint Mocha why not make one at home?
- 3 Tbsp. baking cocoa
- 3 Tbsp. warm water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. peppermint syrup or Creme de Menthe
- 4 oz. fresh brewed Espresso (we recommend our Verdi Espresso Coffee Beans)
- 12 oz. steamed milk
- Whip cream, candy cane, chocolate shavings or red sprinkles to decorate
Dissolve cocoa in warm water. Pour espresso over the chocolate syrup mixture. Add a drop or two of peppermint syrup. Fill mug to top with steamed milk. Garnish the drink with whip cream, candy cane, chocolate shavings and sprinkles and enjoy!
