Recent research shows that shift workers who had coffee breaks were more productive. British researchers found that workers who consumed Gourmet Coffee with caffeine improved memory and concentration and decreased the number of mistakes made. It had the same benefit as taking a power nap. Results from 13 studies from around the world were analyzed looking at coffee drinking in shift workers. Tasks were performed in people who had taken caffeine compared with those who hadn’t.
Those who drank the caffeine scored higher in these tasks. One of the researchers stated “that compared to no intervention, caffeine can reduce the number of errors or improve cognitive performance in shift workers”.
